Robert Weinman

Director, Workforce Innovation

With over 20 years in technical workforce development, Robert Weinman brings specialized expertise in advancing technician training for advanced manufacturing and the electronics design and manufacturing sectors. His academic background in Packaging Science from Rochester Institute of Technology adds a deep understanding of high-volume manufacturing and materials science, informing his work across community colleges, universities, and industry employers.

 

This diverse experience allows Robert to foster strong intersections between employers, talent, and academic institutions.  An innovator in workforce development programs, strategies, and enterprise-level software solutions, Robert has additional strengths in grant writing, project management, instructional design, and competency-based skills gap analysis. His approach emphasizes collaboration, working closely with organizations to ensure the workforce is prepared to meet evolving industry needs.  

 

Robert has also served as a certified instructor and coordinator for the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council’s Certified Production Technician program and is a Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), supporting both technical and leadership growth across workforce sectors.
