Laury Ferguson

Associate Director of Program Administration and Marketing

Laury Ferguson has over 25 years of experience in workforce development. As the Senior Manager of Program Marketing and Administration at NIICA, she plays an integral role in the “Growing Apprenticeships in Nanotechnology and Semiconductors” (GAINS) Program and supports the National Talent Hub.  

 

Before joining NIICA, Laury served as the Director of Apprenticeship and Workforce Development at the Manufacturers Association of New York (MACNY), leading initiatives to upskill the workforce in advanced manufacturing. She developed US DOL Registered Apprenticeships and acted as a Subject Matter Expert for Jobs for the Future (JFF).

 

Laury also built pre-apprenticeship programs by liaising between K-12 schools, community colleges, vocational education providers, and businesses. She facilitated the launch of MACNY’s Career and Talent Platform and worked on internal competency-based training programs for companies.  

 

Prior to MACNY, Laury held roles at Anoplate Corporation as Corporate Training and Development Manager, where she led their apprenticeship program. Laury’s extensive experience in manufacturing and workforce development makes her a valuable asset to NIICA, helping companies develop their future workforce.
