Emily Reilly

Advisory Board Member

Emily Reilly is an accomplished Human Resources executive with a proven track record in leading successful business transformations and driving growth. With extensive experience in the manufacturing sector, Emily excels in human capital strategy, planning, and execution across all business cycles.

 

She has a strong background in establishing new operating entities in global markets and developing people strategies aligned with business objectives, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, compensation design, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.  From 2018 to 2022, Emily served as the SVP & Chief Human Resources Officer at GlobalFoundries (GF), one of the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturers.

 

She led all HR aspects of the greenfield Fab 8 startup in New York, hiring and training over 3,000 technicians, engineers, and R&D professionals. Prior to GF, Emily spent 13 years at General Electric (GE) in engineering and progressive human resources roles.  Emily is a collaborative leader who works with businesses, communities, governments, and educators to build relationships and processes that create talent pipelines.

 

These efforts help meet the workforce and skill requirements necessary for the growing advanced manufacturing ecosystem in the U.S.  Emily holds a B.S. in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
