Chloe Thornton

Chloe Thornton is a skilled planner with extensive experience in regional planning, municipal assistance, and community development. Currently a Planner at the Southern Tier Central Regional Planning and Development Board in Corning, NY, she has executed leadership conferences, coordinated public visioning processes, and provided technical planning assistance to municipalities.

 

Her expertise includes grant applications, grant reporting, and organizing public meetings.  Previously, Chloe was a Training Coordinator at GP Strategies, managing training classes for Corning Inc.'s Workforce, Development, and Learning division, and organizing WebEx meetings and expert panel series.

 

She also served as a Transportation and Research Analyst at the Community Foundation in Horseheads, NY, where she identified transportation issues, facilitated the restart of the Wheels2Work program, and evaluated community assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic.  

 

Chloe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Community, Environment, and Development from The Pennsylvania State University, specializing in International Development and Latin American Development, with a minor in International Agriculture.
